The project
ASSESSION4ALL is developed through an integrated pathway of research, co-design, experimentation and validation, aimed at building a new European model of school assessment: inclusive, dynamic, evidence-based and talent-oriented.
The project actions guide the process from the definition of the scientific foundations to implementation in school contexts, actively involving teachers, students, families, universities, technology partners and educational organisations.
Project actions
Scientific literature review and model definition
The first phase of the project focuses on analysing the state of the art in assessment models, inclusive practices, cognitive styles, talent development and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in education. This work provides a solid scientific framework for the development of the new assessment model and ensures methodological consistency throughout the following phases.
Co-design with the communities
ASSESSION4ALL adopts a participatory approach. Teachers, students and families are involved in co-design activities to help identify needs, define functionalities and shape the practical application of the model. Assessment is therefore conceived as a shared, relational and co-responsible process in which every member of the educational community plays an active role.
Development of artificial intelligence-based solutions
The project includes the modelling and development of digital tools designed to support more personalised and formative assessment practices. Artificial intelligence-based solutions will be designed to help teachers gain deeper insights into students' learning pathways, recognise talents and potential, identify specific needs and provide more timely, targeted and meaningful feedback.
Training for teachers, educators and families
A central part of the project is dedicated to training. Teachers, educators and families will be supported in developing the pedagogical, digital and assessment-related competences needed to use the model in a conscious, effective and inclusive way. Training activities will foster a shared understanding of the new approach and support the integration of innovative practices into everyday school life.
Experimental implementation in European schools
The ASSESSION4ALL model will be piloted in different European school contexts, with the direct involvement of students and teachers. This phase will make it possible to observe the model in practice, collect evidence on its functioning, adapt it to diverse educational environments and assess its accessibility, effectiveness and sustainability.
Data collection, impact analysis and validation
During the pilot phase, qualitative and quantitative data will be collected to evaluate the impact of the model on motivation, well-being, participation, inclusion and the quality of learning processes. The analysis of results will support the validation of the model, the refinement of its operational components and the definition of guidance for its application in other school contexts.
European exchange and mutual learning
The project includes transnational exchange opportunities among partners, schools and educational communities. Workshops, blended events, peer-learning sessions and mutual learning activities will support the circulation of experiences, practices and perspectives across different European countries. This dialogue will help build a model that is truly transferable, culturally responsive and able to generate value beyond individual local contexts.
Dissemination and policy recommendations
Project results will be shared through digital resources, open materials, public events, communication activities and recommendations addressed to schools, policy makers and education stakeholders. The goal is to promote a new culture of assessment: fairer, smarter, more attentive to diversity and more capable of recognising each student's potential.
Each partner contributes specific expertise to the development of a European model of inclusive and talent-based assessment, designed to recognise students' potential, support personalised learning and promote a fairer, more dynamic and evidence-based assessment culture.
